The Six Matters to Acquire Knowledge

Yaa Akhee....laa tanaalul ilma illaa be sittatin             

 Sa-unabbe-uka be ta-weelihaa wa                                                                                 bayaanin.

Thakaaun, wa Hirsun, waj tihaadun, wa bulghatun,

Wa suhbatul ustaadhi wa tooli zamaanin.

"Oh My Brother! You will not attain knowledge except with six(things):

Intelligence, Zeal, Striving, Subsistence,

And the Companionship of a Teacher

And a Long Time."
